Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

MeePs ("we", "us", "our") is a market intelligence and listing optimization tool for Etsy sellers, available at getmeeps.com. We are operated by an individual developer based in the United States.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.

Usage data: We track which features you use (research, copy generation, build listing, mockups) to enforce plan limits and improve the service.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe may collect billing name, card details, and address. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Etsy data: If you connect your Etsy account, we access listing data on your behalf using Etsy's API. We do not store your Etsy credentials — only a temporary OAuth access token used to fetch data.

Generated content: Listings, research results, and AI-generated copy you create may be stored to your account history so you can access them later.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the MeePs service
• To enforce subscription plan limits
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (password reset, billing receipts)
• To improve the product based on usage patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate MeePs:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI copy generation; your product details are sent to Anthropic's API to generate listing copy
• Stability AI — mockup background generation
• Railway — cloud hosting
• Etsy API — market research data

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g. billing records).

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us at hello@getmeeps.com. You can also delete your account directly from your account settings.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

MeePs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of MeePs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
