Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MeePs ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MeePs provides market research, AI-generated listing copy, and mockup generation tools designed to help sellers on Etsy and similar platforms. Features vary by subscription plan. The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about sales outcomes, search ranking improvements, or revenue results.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use MeePs. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@getmeeps.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Free Tier

Free accounts include 3 market research queries per month. Free tier limits may change at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue the free tier with reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or regulation
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or extract data from the Service at scale
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to abuse usage limits or the Etsy API
  • Use AI-generated copy in a way that violates Etsy's own policies

7. AI-Generated Content

MeePs uses third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude) to generate listing copy. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use. We do not guarantee that AI-generated copy will improve your search rankings or sales.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you upload or create using MeePs. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

The MeePs name, logo, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.

9. Third-Party Services

MeePs integrates with Etsy, Stripe, Anthropic, and other third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the actions or availability of third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEEPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will end at the close of your current billing period.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of MeePs after changes constitutes acceptance.
